ITC and DSC as versatile tools for the study of protein stability and interactions
14-21 April, 2016
SYDNEY, MELBOURNE, BRISBANE
A series of workshops were hosted around Australia to demonstrate the advantages of Isothermal Titration Calorimetry (ITC) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) compared to other binding and thermal stability assays. Data provided by ITC and DSC enables scientists to directly and quantitatively characterise biomolecular stability and interactions in solution without the need for extrinsic or intrinsic fluorescence probes.
Attendees were invited to meet with application specialist Dr Peter Gimeson from Malvern Instruments to discuss their applications. Talks were followed by live demonstrations. The latest micro calorimetry technology was discussed including the new PEAQ ITC system. Contact us for more information.
