The principles of inverse Gas Chromatography (iGC) and Dynamic Vapour Sorption (DVS) techniques were discussed together with the properties that can be measured. Further advances and developments were illustrated including the recent hyphenation of DVS with both Raman spectroscopy and video microscopy.
