Workshop: Three Powerful Tools for Understanding Powder Flow Behaviour

30 June-10 July 2025

Melbourne   Sydney    Brisbane

A big thank you to everyone who attended our recent workshop! If you weren’t able to make it, don’t worry—you can still get in touch to learn more about the technologies and insights we shared.

At the event, we were delighted to welcome Dr Anand Tadas and Dr Ruby Hooi, from MalvernPanalytical, global leader in particle characterisation. This workshop focused on understanding how material structure affects powder flow properties which are essential for developing and manufacturing high quality materials.

We showcased the latest in characterisation technologies through real-world case studies and best practices. Users gained valuable insights into assessing powder flowability, packing density, structure, dissolution, and more using cutting-edge analytical techniques.

Live demonstrations showcased Powder rheology: FT4 Powder Rheometer; Powder packing density and porosity: Accupyc; Particle shape and size: Morphologi 4 & Mastersizer 3000+, and Elemental contaminant screening: Epsilon 4

Our workshops offered participants an opportunity for deeper discussions on specific applications and technical challenges in addition to a hands-on sample analysis session to look at how our suite of characterisation technologies can help optimise workflows and generate reproducible, high-quality data.
