Characterisation of Surfaces and Interfaces using Tensiometry

13th – 23rd MARCH 2018

Understanding wettability, adhesion, cleanliness and surface free energy and interfacial rheology.

This workshop introduced a number of different surface based nanoscale characterisation methods from Biolin Scientific. These are powerful tools when developing advanced materials in implants, hydrophobic surfaces, composites, etc. Talks focused on the latest techniques for analysing real surfaces and interfaces and how to measure wettability, adhesion and other features of heterogeneous surfaces with varying topography. Talks were followed by live demonstrations and sample analysis.

If you missed our workshop or if are interested in taking a closer look using your own samples, please contact us with your details of your intended application.
