Product Overview

Phenom Delphi is an all-in- one solution for correlative microscopy. The desktop system combines a Scanning Electron Microscopy Fluorescence microscopy enables the user to visualise and locate specific biological events, while electron microscopy provides detailed structural information. Combined, the two techniques, known as Correlative Light & Electron Microscopy or CLEM, provide a more complete picture.

Seamless switching between imaging techniques makes the Delphi system extremely fast and easy to operate. Delphi’s unique integrated design eliminates the need to spend time on correctly overlaying the images. Precision mechanics and proprietary automated alignment ensures extremely defined, user-independent overlay of FM and EM images. This compact and easy to use system has no need for extra infrastructure and can therefore be placed in any laboratory.

Typical application areas of the Delphi include whole cells cultured on cover glass, as well as thin sections of cells, tissue or other biological material like animal embryos.

Benefits

Fully integrated

Delphi combines SEM imaging with FM in a fully integrated system for fast Correlative microscopy with unique overlay precision.

Super-fast

Seamless switching between imaging techniques. After loading the sample an instant optical image is received followed by an electron/fluorescence image in <60 seconds.

Ease of use with “never lost” sample navigation

Equipped with an optical colour microscope the user can swiftly navigate to any region of interest with just a single click and keep the image overview of the sample.

Low maintenance

The long lifetime, high brightness thermionic source (CeB 6 ) enables extremely stable operation and has a typical operational lifetime of >1500 hours, which is ideal for maximum useability, serviceability and uptime.

Intuitive software and automated overlay

Specially developed open source software package enables fully automated alignment and unbiased overlays on every specimen.
