LUNA-BX7 Automated cell counter offers high-performance cell counting at an affordable price. The LUNA-BX7 retains the core features of the LUNA-FX7 while focusing solely on brightfield optics.

High-resolution imaging and expanded concentration volume

Equipped with advanced algorithms and machine-learning capabilities, it can count diverse and more complex cell lines at a higher throughput while enabling accurate, reliable, and reproducible results. The small footprint makes it ideal as a benchtop cell counter for busy labs with multiple users, a high volume of daily cell counts, or for bioprocessing and GMP compliance.

Higher throughput & multiple slide options

LUNA-BX7 offers 1-, 2-, 3-, and 8-channel slide configurations, similar to the LUNA-FX7.The reusable slide provides an eco-friendly and budget-friendly option, while the disposable slides provide peace of mind for cell counts where cross-contamination is a factor. User-friendly software makes it easy to switch between chambers. This means unused chambers in a multi-chamber slide can be used, eliminating waste.

Quality Control, Bioprocessing & 21 CFR, Part 11 

LUNA-BX7 provides QC software (IQ/OQ protocol) for daily checks and maintaining accuracy, offering Validation Slides for brightfield cell counting to ensure the highest standards in your cell-counting workflow. Bioprocessing capabilities are available providing growth rates and trend charts to track production and accurately forecast timelines, allowing users to monitor, record, and analyse different bioprocessing activities individually. LUNA-BX7 features the optional CountWire software for the ultimate in CFR 21, Part 11 compliance.

LUNA-BX7 can be upgraded to LUNA-FX7 to add two-channel fluorescence optics if needs change.
