ATA Scientific was a trade sponsor at this years event hosted at the Pullman Cairns International Hotel. The conference focused on extracellular vesicles (exosomes, microvesicles, microparticles) released by cells which contain proteins, genetic material and lipids. During the conference we demonstrated the new Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NanoSight NS300) system from Malvern Instruments. NanoSight can visualise and measure particles in a liquid suspension in terms of size, light scattering intensity and count. Fluorescence mode enables detection of labelled particles.
