At ATA Scientific we go beyond just the supply and service of instruments. We are strong believers in the outstanding contribution of our scientific community across Australia and New Zealand. We are privileged to be part of this community and will continue to make our contribution with an ongoing program of free consultation, encouragement awards, user training, and support at many conferences.
Award
Our Encouragement Awards are competitions intended to promote the interests of young scientists early in their science career. The Awards provide an opportunity for young scientists to win financial assistance to further their education, including attending scientific conferences and meetings. The Awards were established 13 years ago and since then over 130 winners and runners-up have received financial assistance.
We are really enthusiastic about our awards program as we can see the practical contribution it is making. We have been impressed by the outstanding submissions that we have received. The mix of science, humour and imagination is a great reflection of the talent that there is in the young science community. Our next Encouragement Award will be announced in our newsletter, on ATA Scientific Facebook and on this website.
We deliver seminars, demos, and hands-on training throughout the year, covering instrument operation, measurement techniques, software use, and data interpretation. Designed for both new and experienced users, our courses include practical demonstrations and can be run onsite across our full range of equipment.
