Its excellent spectroscopic performance is suitable for advanced biochemical and clinical lab applications, as well as routine applications such as spectrum scanning, kinetics, quantitative analysis, and colorimetric tests conducted for QC and environmental analysis.
The V-630Bio is specifically designed for Life Science applications. It consists of the V-630, an intelligent Remote Module (iRM) for biological and clinical analysis, and a micro cell holder. Dedicated bio-analytical application programs include protein/nucleic acid measurement, temperature ramping/DNA melting analysis, kinetics measurement and analysis, and a quantitative protein analysis program with six different calibration methods included in the software. An automatic 8-position turret micro cell changer with temperature control is an option.

The new Dark Correction feature combined with high stray light rejection provides absorbance linearity greater than four absorbance units. It can also be used with solid sample handling accessories such as an integrating sphere to collect diffuse light transmitted or reflected by a sample. The advanced optical design allows the bandwidth to be set as low as 0.1 nm for high resolution work including gas and vapor phase spectroscopy.
A dual monochromator model. The use of a second monochromator provides higher resolution with extremely low stray light to assure more precise measurements over a wide photometric range, especially at shorter wavelengths.
UV/Vis/NIR model and employs dual detectors, a PMT for UV/Vis and a PbS unit for the NIR region. The V-670 is the ideal solution for affordable and accurate NIR analysis. The spectral wavelength range as standard is 190-2700 nm and can be expanded to 3200 nm (optional).
