Particle Image Analyser
The Morphologi G2 is particle image analyser designed for the automated analysis of;
- Particle size: high resolution sizing from 0.5µm - 1000µm.
- Particle shape: parameters such as circularity and convexity can quantify subtle differences between samples which are not detectable by size-only.
- Particle count - foreign particle detection: every particle in the sample is counted and measured which enables the system to detect and flag foreign particles.
The Morphologi G2 automates the analysis of many thousands of particles for statistically significant data. The microscope-quality images also provide qualitative analysis. The particle images are stored and can be recalled for visual verification of agglomerates, fines, foreign particles etc.Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) allow instrument variables (focus, magnification etc) to be recorded and recalled. The system automatically calibrates before and after every analysis using a traceable NPL grating and conforms to 21CFR part 11 requirements.
