CELL AND PARTICLE COUNTING AND SIZING

Sysmex CDA-500

The CDA-500 is a very easy to use cell and particle counter/sizer, which uses the electro-zone sensing method. By simply turning on the power the system automatically performs a self check and rinse cycle. Only 3 minutes are required to complete this start up process.

There are four measurement modes;

• Manometer. measuring the number of particles or cells per unit volume.
• Time.... performing analysis for a pre set time,
• Recount...repeating measurements automatically
• Peak count. counting the number of cells of a preset size.

Three detectors cover the overall particle size range of 1.25 to 60 microns. Each of the detectors has multiple sub size ranges, so that particles can be counted within a specific size range.

The CDA-500 software provides an extensive range of data outputs. These include particle density, volume, diameter and size, together with their associated distributions. The data processing functions make it easy to analyse the test results and compare samples. Distribution curves from up to 10 samples can be graphically displayed and overlayed.
